Policing your Blogs – You are What You Write.

by frank.gorton on 08/13/2008

So I used Wordle about a month or so ago, and thought it was interesting about what it said about me and my blog. Very useful tool to gain the unbiased view of what is the main content points of what youare writting about in your blogs. Today on Twitter, Shai Coggins wrote a quick post about how she used Wordle. I took a look at her great post What Does Your Blog Say About You? and then did a new Wordle generation of my blog, as well as my Delicious account and sat down to interpret the results.

In looking at my results I am starting to really focus on all things Social Media related. I like this aspect of the review, and that is the goal of what I am trying to do with my blog and site. I have also noticed that I have a number of words around people, communities, and friends. In looking at those items I am even happier to see those appear. I ama firm believer that the problem with so many application, and sites these days is that they forget to worry about the user experience, and that is crucal.

Thanks Shai for brining this back up as a tool to review our content, and this is now part of my arsenal of tools to check in and see how I am doing.

Be Well

Frank
